Austin earned her Master of Arts Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy at Lewis & Clark College’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling. Austin works with individuals, couples and families, using a strength-based approach focusing on the resilience in individual and family life stories. Her professional interests include working with school-aged children, adolescents and their families on a variety of issues surrounding transition and change, using narrative and mindfulness techniques. She also uses art and play therapy in her work with children.

Austin has worked in both private practice and larger facilities in the greater Portland area. She believes in a collaborative approach including other providers to ensure the best care.

As a native Oregonian Austin is thrilled to be able to work in a community in which she has lived and worked in for years. I look forward to walking through this process together. If you have questions, or would like to set up a first appointment, please call 503-908-4625.
