Making the decision to seek counseling is a big step. You may be entering counseling for the first time or have decided to change counselors. I am here for you to explore whether we would be a good fit.
I describe my style of counseling as client centered, meaning that you will lead the way. That said, I think setting flexible and realistic goals early on for counseling is important.
For some, counseling can be a transformative experience. The process can allow for an opportunity to self reflect, forgive, and begin to live the life that you are meant to live! My most important goal when working with clients is that they feel comfortable and safe to share their experiences, feelings, thoughts, and ideas openly. My role is to support you and to facilitate a space which will allow you to feel heard.
I work with children, adolescents, and adult clients individually. My experience includes working with clients who have faced alcohol and drug addiction (both in themselves and/or with family members), codependency, divorce, grief, parenting, pregnancy complications, anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, relocating stress, and existential breakthroughs.
Thank you for reading. I look forward to connecting if you have any questions or would like to schedule a time to meet.
