Finding hope that a problem will get better can sometimes become a challenge in our lives, and finding a way to solve a problem can sometimes seem impossible. As your therapist, my goal is to help you clearly identify and explore the problem and provide the assistance, guidance and coping skills to address an array of mental, emotional and general life issues, and restore hope. I utilize an integrative, strengths-based approach to therapy, emphasizing brief solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and motivational interviewing techniques to help you tap into your strengths, identify and challenge thought and behavior patterns that contribute to the problem, and develop ways to do things differently and resolve or improve the problem.

I was born and raised in Oregon and earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Lewis and Clark College. I am a Registered Intern with Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.

Sometimes clients have a very specific problem for which they are seeking help, and sometimes clients just want to develop ways to live fuller, happier lives. I strive to instill and cultivate hope in my clients – hope for themselves, hope for those they love, and hope for the world at large. It is truly a pleasure to be able to help my clients appreciate the good in themselves and in the world.

I provide therapeutic services focused on:

Depression and Anxiety
Post-traumatic stress
Loss and grief
Aging issues/adult child caregiver issues
Stress management
Coping with chronic illness

My rates are affordable at $40/session, and I offer a sliding fee scale for those who would otherwise not be able to afford the full session fee. I also offer a complimentary 30 minute introductory session via telephone or in person so that you can decide if I am the right therapist for you. I do not accept insurance.

I look forward to hearing from you via telephone or email!
