“The true story of every person in this world is not the story you see, the external story. The true story of each person is the journey of his or her heart.”
~ John Eldredge

It is in relationship that we are often wounded and it is in relationship that we heal. I believe that there is only so much healing that a person can do alone. Making sense of painful and difficult circumstances with a trusted guide can promote a new beginning in the emotional life of a person.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University where I also have completed an additional year of Couples and Family systemic therapy coursework.

I utilize Intersubjectivity psychoanalysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. EFCT intervention consists in helping the distressed couple and individuals to form a new bond, which becomes an attachment foundation that empowers the couple and the individual to work through various relational and psychological issues. I have over five years of training as a Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist teaching Parents and adolescent group home staff interventions to reduce negative and harmful behaviors.

I hold a BA in Biblical Studies and am a practicing Christian, but I desire that we incorporate spirituality only if it is your desire and if it is supportive to your healing.

I currently offer counseling at $40 per session, with discounts offered to those dealing with significant financial strain. I’m also glad to offer a face-to-face consultation at no cost to help both of us decide whether we would be good partners in the counseling you want to do.

I look forward to hearing from you ~ Jeremiah
