Jessica has always been interested in the idea of self-regulation and what factors can facilitate or inhibit an individual’s ability to make changes in their lives. The idea that we are capable of change, that the brain is able to learn new behaviors, or “rewire”, led her to study neurofeedback, or brainwave biofeedback. Utilizing this technique, Jessica is able to guide clients towards better emotional regulation, enhanced attention and improved cognitive functioning.
Jessica has worked since 2010 as a neurofeedback clinician, specializing in addressing anxiety disorders. Additionally, she completed her counseling internship working with adolescents and their families at Response, a part of Jewish Child and Family Services in Chicago, IL. In her free time she loves to travel, take walks and spend time with her family.
Jessica’s practice approach includes neurofeedback, EMDR, counseling, and mindfulness techniques. She is Board Certified in Neurofeedback and has a Master’s Degree in Counseling.
