Each of us has a deep desire to be connected to others, which directly impacts our mental, emotional, and physical health when connections are toxic. If you have experienced rejection, disappointment, abandonment, trauma or neglect especially early in life you may have learned to survive, but not thrive. This may leave you experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, panic attacks, or problems with intimacy. Many people attempt to cope with these feelings by using drugs, alcohol, prescription pills, food, anger, self-harm or other addictive behaviors. My hope is to help individuals identify how theses coping strategies develop early in early life and become barriers to living well.
I also have been trained as a Vocational Counselor to assist clients and people with disabilities who are in career transitions to identify skills and become prepared for the work world. I utilize a variety of models to facilitate the counseling process including mindfulness, Attachment models, IPNB, CBT, DBT skills, NVC, ACT, SAMHSA Recovery model, and humor. I have a deep respect for each person’s pursuit of spirituality and practice a walk of faith of my own.

I do not charge for an initial consultation. If an ongoing relationship is established I charge $90 for a 50 minute session. I do not bill insurance but I’m glad to discuss sliding scale options I offer. Because I am connected to a network of counselors if a referral is needed I would be more than willing to help you find the right fit as you move forward in your healing process.
