I have close to ten years’ experience collaborating with people on goals to improve the quality of their lives. I trained at the family therapy program at Mercer University School of Medicine in Atlanta/Macon, Georgia. I see individuals, couples, families, teens and children for therapy. Specialty areas are blended/adoptive families, couples therapy, and child play therapy.
The foundational theories that make up my training are multi-generational family therapy, object relations theory, structural therapy and strategic family therapy. More contemporary therapy models include Imago couple’s therapy, internal family system’s therapy, person centered therapy and cognitive therapy. Other areas of interest are psychoanalysis, feminist critique and sociology. I am experienced with people who wish to explore their relationships, identity, manage mental health symptoms or overcome past trauma.
I am licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Counselors and Therapists as an LMFT, licensed marriage and family therapist. My fee is $120.00 for each fifty minute session. I also have time slots available on a sliding scale fee. I accept Pacific Source insurance and I have several applications pending with other insurance companies. We can communicate with your insurance company about reimbursing some of the therapy fees if I bill as an out of network provider. For more information or to schedule appointments email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 541-636-6180. I look forward to hearing from you.
