We all want to be our best selves. Therapy can help you understand what is getting in the way of being your best self and thriving. Family dynamics, birth order, bio chemistry, early childhood experiences and present struggles are just some of what drive us and make us unique. My approach to therapy combines warmth, humor, creativity, research based body and brain science, and is very collaborative. I provide therapy for people interested in depth work and “fine tuning” as well as those in immediate crisis.

I work with clients from a perspective that helps them to feel encouraged, valued and productive in their lives. Therapy is a dynamic process that involves both subtle shifts and meaningful changes. You and I may decide to work together briefly to manage a current challenge or longer-term to resolve more persistent, chronic difficulties and achieve lasting results. Therapy is one step and there are many other lifestyle choices that can positively impact us: strong community ties, nutrition, exercise, spirituality, and balance. My goal is to help you set yourself up for success to be your best self.

Some of my specialties are:

Adult ADHD
Sexual Abuse/Trauma
Couples Therapy
Depression and Anxiety
Empowerment and Self Esteem
Grief and Loss
Parenting Struggles

When working with couples, I focus on identifying positive qualities and strengths in the relationship and find out what patterns or dynamics need to be shifted. Being proactive and playful in our relationship can prevent “burnout” and feelings of disengagement. Anger and resentment are signals that something is out of balance in the relationship. Couples work is exciting and powerful and can benefit the entire family.

Please refer to my website for the most current fee. For ease of payment, I accept credit or debit cards through Square, as well as cash or check. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I may be considered as an Out of Network Provider, which may help therapy be more affordable for you.

Feel free to call or email to set up an appointment or to ask any questions that may help you make this important decision. I look forward to meeting you!
