Hello and Welcome!

Being a therapist is my calling. When I sit in the room with my clients, I hold that safe space, I am there as they explore their past, experience present and plan future. I am in awe when they find their voice and use it to communicate effectively with loved ones and the rest of the world. The growth that happens in therapy inspires me! I truly enjoy using my skills and knowledge to help people transform their lives.
I work with people struggling with anxiety, depression, traumatic past and relationship difficulties. Besides that, I have two main specialties:

Eating Disorders

Hating your body, focusing on specific areas, engaging in excessive exercise and/or destructive eating patterns – are ways you have learned to cope with stress and life in general. It became a huge part of your life. A part, that you don’t know you can live without. However, despite the immediate comfort, it wreaks havoc on your mind and body. The path to peace with your body and food is challenging, but I can be there for you every step of the way. I practice from Health at Every Size perspective and collaborate with other professionals as needed.

Couples Therapy

When frequent conflicts, miscommunication and hurt feelings enter your relationship, somehow quality of life in general suffers considerably. Most couples’ issues can be resolved in therapy, that’s why I am so passionate about helping people get along and be happy together! Because when relationship with your partner is great, all other problems seem so much smaller and more manageable. I utilize Gottman method and EFT approaches, which are based on scientific findings of what works for better relationships.

What does therapy look like with me?

Therapy is a relationship, where I walk alongside you, while you explore, challenge and change your life. I am here to guide and support, uncover blind spots and educate. My approach is warm and caring, yet direct and collaborative. I use evidence-based treatments and approaches that I adapt especially for you.

I have a Masters degree from Santa Clara University, in SF Bay Area. I have over 6 years of professional experience in variety of settings: schools (family issues), community clinic (sexual assault traumas, domestic violence), PHP and IOP treatment centers (for eating disorders) and private practice. I continue to develop professionally and currently pursue the official certification in Gottman method. I am active in my professional community and serve on the board of CREDN, an organization for clinicians, specializing in Eating Disorders.

My fee is $100 per session. Please, do not let the price tag keep you from contacting me. I always try to make my services accessible for my clients and reserve sliding scale spots in my practice. My main goal is to make sure we are a great fit.
