Welcome to my page!
My name is Lisa and as a mental health professional I bring nearly a decade of experience to benefit clients from a broad range of backgrounds.
Through the years I have had the opportunity to counsel individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, PTSD, relational issues, sexual abuse, domestic violence, chronic pain, and grief and loss. I have had the privilege to work with diverse populations that include, former and active duty military, first responders, sexual abuse survivors, those experiencing homelessness, and individuals not falling into those categories – I can and have seen individuals of all backgrounds. I emphasize client strengths-based care to develop collaborative and comprehensive treatment goals that challenge clients to work toward healing, recovery, and self-sufficiency.
My professional style is holistic, high-energy, compassionate, organized, results-oriented and solution-focused with motivation to assist clients in meeting their needs and develop skills through therapeutic treatment to achieve their optimal level of emotional health.
I hold a masters degree in counseling psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute with an emphasis in Depth Psychology. Beyond my graduate education, I have completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing – effective and versatile modalities that I tailor to my clients’ specific needs.
I am available to all individuals at various stages of their mental health journey. Similarly to my choice of approach, the ultimate objective of our time together will differ between individuals, and for those uncertain about what they want to achieve through counseling we can work together to identify your personal goals. My fee is $100 for a 50-minute session. I am conducting sessions in person or via telehealth and I do offer a sliding fee scale, as available and needed.
I look forward to hearing from you. Let’s get started.
