The relationship between you and your therapist has proven to be the most important element of healing. My therapy style is genuine and collaborative, based on your unique needs. Instead of only focusing on the problem, we will focus on the strengths and skills you already have, and use them as building blocks for future success and problem-solving.
I have been serving clients with severe depression and anxiety for 6 years in community mental health. I’ve also had the privilege to support victims of crime and those coping with past trauma and abuse using “Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.” I’ve also had substantial experience working with those who are struggling with addictions and desire to enter recovery.
Working with families to help them restabilize and reconnect has been part of my professional development. If you are a struggling parent, you may find reassurance in my ability to help you restructure your family and address relationship issues based on current needs.
I am a strong believer in mindfulness which can be used to increase self awareness in many areas of life.
I deeply respect your willingness and determination to seek help. Your treatment goals whether long or short term will be my priority. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you. I love what I do and I hope to meet you soon.
