I have been a therapist for years and I enjoy the work tremendously. It is an honor and a privilege to be your professional listener and help guide you towards where you want to be in your life. I am empathic, knowledgeable and down-to-earth, and bring a practical approach to my work with clients. I adapt my style to fit your needs; long or short term.
Adults may seek counseling to find a safe place to process feelings of grief and loss from divorce, illness, job loss, aging, illness, death and more. Or you may be feeling more anxious and depressed and not know why.
Couples often enter therapy wanting to “tune-up” their communication skills, bring more contentment and less conflict to their relationships, or seek guidance around issues of parenting.
My therapeutic approach has developed over the years through experience, study and trainings. My style includes practical teaching of life skills found in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Thearpy), Gottman, and methods of deeper understanding of Self. I received my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. I had a successful career with Frontier Behavioral Health. I have relocated to Oregon to continue my practice and be near family and nature.
My fee is $40 for a 50-minute session and I offer a no-cost consultation in person or phone to help determine if I would be a good fit for you. I look forward to hearing from you.
