Accepting new patients insured through Blue Cross/Blue Shield, MODA, and Pacific Source
I currently provide adult outpatient psychiatric services which include diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medication management, and brief therapy informed with psychodynamic/psychoanalytic principles. The experience I bring includes a continuous outpatient office practice since 2006 and 18 years of adult inpatient work from 2001 to 2019. I have a background with training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy though the Oregon Psychoanalytic Center PPP which helps inform diagnosis, treatment, and enhances how I listen and understand the clients with whom I work.
Although I am experienced in making decisions around applying medications to assist with treatment, I also can effectively and more comfortably help clients discontinue psychotropic medications when it is clinically indicated. I treat the full spectrum of adult mental health conditions. I do apply conditional limitations on accepting referrals related to geropsychiatric needs, adult ADD, and continuing new referrals on habit forming substances.
Additionally, I provide a novel form of natural co-enzyme therapy to significantly further recovery in matters related to chemical dependency and post-acute withdrawal, acute detoxification, and for certain kinds of chronic anxiety. I am certified to provide buprenorphine therapy for opioid dependence and use a time tested and successful algorithm for helping people reduce doses and discontinue buprenorphine in a stable manner.
I am paneled with the Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Moda, and Pacific Source insurance companies, and apply a competitive standard fee scale for cash/credit pay patients. I am accepting referrals for new clients at this time.
